Frozen, Pirate Fairy and Saving Mr Banks Event #PirateFairyBloggers #FrozenBluRay

Disney has provided travel and hotel accommodations; all opinions are my own.Disney Event February 2014

I’ll be participating in an amazing event next week and I wanted to be sure to give you a heads up so you can come along! I’ll be travelling to LA to celebrate the upcoming releases of Frozen, Saving Mr Banks, and The Pirate Fairy February 10-12. Plus I’ve also just found out we’ll be screening DreamWorks’ new film, Need for Speed as well.

You can join in on all the fun by following  #PirateFairyBloggers and/or #FrozenBluRay hashtags on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I’ll be sharing what I learn about the releases and my Q&A with Frozen Director Chris Buck as well as Producers Jennifer Lee and Peter Del Vecho. I’ll also be sharing my hands-on demonstration of the Rigging process led by Character TC Supervisor Gregory Smith, plus my voice-over recording session with Frozen’s Audio Engineer Gabe Guy. I did a voice-over session several years ago with Peter Del Vecho for Winnie the Pooh – it was so interesting to see how the voice recording magic happens.

Then I’m excited to say we’ll be touring the Studio archives Saving Mr Banks display. I can’t wait to hear the original PL Travers recordings and tour the exhibit that is not open to the public. Lucky us!

We finish up with Frozen and we’ll be heading over to Tinkerbell’s world, also know as DisneyToon Studios, where we’ll see an advanced screening of The Pirate Fairy and then have a chat with its director, Peggy Holmes . We’ll also chat with producer Jennifer Magee-Cook and we’ll  get to experience  the creation of  the newest Disney Fairy, Zarina, from story to character and design to animation.

Natasha Bedingfield – “Who I Am’ – The Pirate Fairy on Blu-ray 4/1!

As part of this event I’ll be reviewing all three films and sharing more later. Please watch the blog for upcoming stories!

As with all Disney trips, there is going to be a ton of activity and so much to share. I hope you’ll come along with me and in the meantime, what would like to know from Directors or Animations teams from Frozen or The Pirate Fairy? I’m all ears!
