Personalized Big Brother / Sister Books from I See Me

I See Me sent me a personalized big brother book to facilitate this review, but all opinions are my own.

I wrote last week about our transition from one kid to two — hasn’t been the easiest thing in the world thus far, so I’m always looking for tricks to help me out.  For the record, telling my three-year-old that he’s the “family expert” on replacing pacifiers in babies’ mouths has worked beautifully. So, I was delighted to learn about I See Me, a personalized children’s book company with a special line of Big Brother and Big Sister books.

I had some personalized books when I was a kid and I remember how exciting it was to see my name right there, typed into the story. Especially MY name, which is spelled in a unique way so I never saw it written correctly anywhere. The Super, Incredible Big Sister and The Super, Incredible Big Brother books come personalized with the older sibling’s name (right on the front cover!) and the name of the new baby. The book reassures the older sibling that he or she is loved and appreciated, and it rewards them for being a “superstar” with their new sibling.

I especially loved how both boys’ names are sprinkled throughout the text and in some of the illustrations. He loves to show the book off to visitors, and it has created a lot of opportunities for us to discuss how exciting and fun it is to be a big brother.

An I See Me personalized children’s book would be a perfect gift to give any family preparing for a new little sibling — it makes the whole process seem a little more exciting. And, you can get a 10% off coupon when you sign up for I See Me emails on the site, so hurry and head over for your own personalized book!

The personalized sibling books retail for $34.95 each and can be purchased at the I See Me website. Standard delivery is 2 weeks, but expedited delivery is available.

Visit the I See Me website for more information and to check out their line of personalized lunch boxes, placemats, apps, and more. You can also follow them on Pinterest or Facebook for upcoming specials and new releases.

  1. What a cute idea for siblings! I have a 19 year old daughter and a son that is 3 it is pretty much like having 2 only children. I won’t be having more children but if I was going to this would be a great book to purchase for a big brother or big sister.
