Nissan provided transportation and accommodations for the 2014 Versa Note Media Preview – all opinions are my own.
I’m in San Diego today for the 2014 Versa Note Media Preview on behalf of MomStart. I’ll be posting after the event on Louise’s site and I’m so happy to be representing her here, but I wanted to let you know about the hashtag so you can follow along while I’m here.
2014 Versa Note Test Drive
On 6/21, Nissan is allowing me to take a Versa Note on the road to get a feel for the car so that I’ll be able share my honest opinion about the price, quality, features, etc of their entry level car.
I’m pretty excited about trying out the car since my husband and I will be downsizing our car from a 7-passenger van to something that gets better gas mileage and one that has upgraded safety features. We’re looking for a car that’s dependable, gets great gas mileage, and works for our empty-nester lifestyle.
We’re not looking for a car for status. We’re interested in a car that allows us to travel comfortably. I’m curious if the Versa Note, which is Nissan’s entry level car, is perfect for us as well. I’m especially curious about the tech features that are included with the car. We will be driving several cars with different trim packages; it’ll be interesting to find out if there’s one that would fit my non-techy husband and my want-it-all-tech-wise self.
I’ll be tweeting from the road, granted NOT while I’m driving, so I hope you’ll follow along. Please feel free to tweet me questions – but do it early. We leave at 8am and my flight back to Seattle is at 3pm so there’s a lot of ground to cover in a short time.
Follow #2014VersaNote on Twitter – there are several bloggers here and the brand will be tweeting as well.
Nissan Vine Contest
You could see your Vine in a national TV commercial! Contest begins July. #loop https://vine.co/v/hBIb2bq5gLn
You are so lucky to be able to travel so much and meet so many nice people and do interesting things! I will be interested to read the review on this – I don’t see a Mercedes in my near future! And, I love the picture of you and Vanessa and Jill !
You’re right, I’m very lucky! And what a terrible picture of me, but I love the moment that it captured – shear joy. We were giggling because a very handsome man from France was taking our picture and telling us to say cheese in French. What a fun memory.
