Disney Frozen Movie
Frozen  is Walt Disney Animation Studio’s 53rd animated Walt Disney Animated Classics feature.  The 3D computer animated, musical-fantasy film is loosely based on the Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale,  The Snow Queen. Idina Menzel, who previously performed the part of the Wicked Witch Elphaba in “Wicked,” seems like a fabulous casting choice as does the princess role voiced/sung by Kristen Bell.

Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Peter Del Vecho is the director. I got the chance to meet him when he directed the 2011 “Winnie the Pooh.” He walked me through the process of how sound in recorded for animated movies. He was very personable and extremly kind. You can see the video of him helping me voice Piglet in the film here:  Recording Piglet’s Voice for Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Movie . With his kind touch and previous film successes, I expect that frozen will be fabulous.
