2013 seems to be the year of the Cloud. The concept is simple. All of your important information kept safely for you on the Internet so you can access it from anywhere.
Lifekeep is a new player in the personal cloud network. They provide a secure digital account for the long term. It’s a place to store your important photos, documents, and passwords in one convenient location. No more trying to remember where everything is scattered across the virtual and real world.
But the best benefit? Not only is it safe and secure, it’s private. Unlike other sites that store your data, there’s no cost to your privacy. Were you aware that many of them have been analyzing your behavior online and sharing that information with advertisers? Yep, that’s how you “pay” for that free service. But that’s not the case with Lifekeep.
LifeKeep is a secure digital vault that uses the latest technology encryption to provide you with a place to store all of your multi-media files. Only you will be able to retrieve and access them and they’ll do all the work of backing up your data for you. Plus, they future-proof your data by making sure it’s compatible with the next data format.
If you like, you can share your data to your social media accounts, but the sharing is what and when you decide. And it stores the important things that as we get older we forget – the hundreds of passwords we have out there! It can also store you pin codes and anything else you want to remember.
But what about when you’re gone? More and more people are passing and leaving a locked up data trail behind them. Lifekeep is the only current application that allows you to pass the keys to your digital life on so that your loved ones can close out your accounts for you. I know it sounds morbid, but as someone who owns a small business that no one else has the information for, this if vitally important to me. Plus I can leave my last wishes there as well.
Digital archiving is the way of the future but it’s important to find a company you trust. One that uses the highest level of security currently available and more importantly, one that stays on top of it and ahead of the hackers.
The free LifeKeep app uses AES-256 encryption technology which according to the U.S. Committee on National Security Systems is a system worthy of securing “top secret” classified documents. It’s said to be the highest security encryption standard state.
Downloading the app is easy and the free account holds a whopping amount of information. But should you require more, there are paid plans to fit your needs.
So how are you safekeeping your important online information? Check out the free LifeKeep account, it may just be the answer you’re waiting for.
not sure if i’d use such a service… great idea, but you are trusting someone else to hold onto your stuff …. with all the hackers around, sometimes this is a scarey thought…
great idea though
Great for keeping all of your private things private
So true!
I’ve heard of a few sites like this, but I’ve never tried them. I may have to look into doing this. Thanks for the information.!
It’s a plan, could work for me.
I had no clue on this. My wife is looking into this for us!! A big thanks….
I did not know about this thank you for the information.
I did know about this app. It is very useful and needed if you have a lot of graphics and information you need to keep safe. Thank you for the heads-up on it.
Wow! I didn’t know that other sites analyzing your behavior online and sharing that information with advertisers. I will have to talk to my husband about LifeKeep. I don’t know what I would do if something happened to one of us. he doesn’t know all my passwords and I don’t know all of his. Scary!
This sounds like a great concept. Not sure if it’s for me though. Technology stuff doesn’t come easy to me.
This is definitely something I need! My daughter and I were just talking the other day about what happens to all of your accounts & info after you die because no one would know how to access them.
Exactly. Especially if you run an online business like millions of people do.
Thank you so much for this information. I am going to invest in is. It’s a great ides. I always forget my passwords because of the different sites required for my job. Thank you again.
I love the idea of a secure digital vault for all of my online life. I’m always forgetting things!
Me too! Especially passwords!
Sounds great!!! Thanks for sharing.
Well, you sold me on it! I have a book of passwords, but forget to change them in the book when I change them because I think I’ll remember them. LOL!
I’m using the free account for passwords myself – I’m tired of not remembering 🙂
