As part of the press day activities for Disney • Pixar’s upcoming movie, BRAVE, press and bloggers alike spent a few minutes enjoying some of the art and games of Scotland. My first stop was the archery range where staff from a local club gave us instructions on the fine art of the bow. We took turns aiming at the targets and laughing as we discovered our inner huntresses. Many of us were surprisingly good and I wouldn’t be surprised if one or two take up the sport now.

[slider id=”brave-archery”] Photos provided by Jessica Brandi Lifland/Pixar and used with permission (© 2012 Jessica Brandi Lifland)I had the opportunity to see the first 30 minutes of BRAVE in 2D (the theater production will be in 3D). It’s Pixar’s newest film and it’s pretty impressive. (Read: Movies: Sneak Peek of Disney Pixar’s New Movie BRAVE for more on what I thought about the film.) I’ll also be sharing some fun activities we participated in during the press event as well as my review of Disneynature‘s CHIMPANZEE and Pixar’s animated short movie, La Luna. I also had the pleasure of interviewing the directors of BRAVE and La Luna and I’m looking forward to sharing their words with you soon as well.
Special thanks to Disney and Pixar for including me in this event and for providing these fabulous photos.
