Eat Your Heart Out Valentine's Jello Mold

Eat Your Heart Out Valentine’s Jello Mold from Family Fun Magazine

As February draws near, it’s time to start thinking about crafts to do with the kids, especially since the weather is making playing outside more difficult. Time spent crafting, coloring, and cooking with your child cannot start too early in their life. There are lots of activities available online for every age group. The bonding that takes place through doing these activities together eis immeasurable.

I chose most of these because they reminded me of the things I did as a child and then those that I did with my children. Childhood just isn’t complete until you’ve made a tissue paper heart and used the extra Elmer’s white glue to cover you palm with and then peel off to gross out your friends.  And Jello, what child would love a great stack of wiggly Jello formed like a heart?

Enjoy! The time you have to share these kinds of activities with your kids goes much, too much, quickly.
